THOUSANDS of footie fans face travel chaos today after part of the M1 was closed due to a horror smash.
Road chiefs say part of the M1 between junction 12 and 13 is likely to remain closed until the early hours of tomorrow. Bedfordshire Police closed the motorway in both directions sparking major disruption for thousands of fans. A major recovery operation is underway while traffic police are trying to determine how the crash happened.
