HONG KONG—Chief Executive Carrie Lam said cross-border travel between the city and mainland China would be reduced significantly due to the spreading outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus.
Speaking Tuesday at a news conference while wearing a surgical mask, Mrs. Lam said Hong Kong would shut two railways that connect to the mainland, as well as reduce cross-border tour buses, ferries and flights that go to and from China.

NOT significant at all. The public healthcare system in HK has been overloaded even before the outbreak. HKers are now asking for a complete shut down of all borders.

Not significant. Shutting down borders which only account for 7-8% of total passenger throughout isnt helpful enough. And it simply results in a cannibisation by other borders. I imagine tmr we will see a crazy inbound flow of tourists from China. I dont own the photo.
