Anyone arriving from China, except Australian citizens, permanent residents and their direct family, will be barred from entry to Australia as the government seeks to stop the spread of the potentially deadly coronavirus. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has urged Australians to refrain from travelling to mainland China, calling the unfolding outbreak an “escalating threat”.
Mr Morrison told reporters on Saturday the government is taking this stance due to an” abundance of caution”. At least 256 people have died from the coronavirus in China alone, with at least 10 cases of the disease confirmed in Australia. Foreign Minister Marise Payne said there are “a significant number” of Australians in the at-risk Wuhan province and that the ADF is working to evacuate them.
They waited until 400,000 chinese students returned as semester one starts tomorrow. Morrison wanted that tertiery tax take for his surplus, regardless of the consequences. In 2 weeks we will start to find out.

Wow, what a stand! Why doesn't this government (or any other) do this with a known killer, influenza? Ban from flying, trains, and buses. Ban from work and public areas? Like 'terrorism' it's the government keeping it's citizens in constant fear.
