We’ve been dreaming of staying in one of the Artist Residence hotels forever. Each and every one are Instagram heavens, with their London offering sitting pretty between the realms of Chelsea, the Tate and Westminster. Downstairs is an all-day hangout and restaurant complete with pop art, neon and shabby chic decor. In the basement, there’s a speak-easy style cocktail den. Basically, you won’t have to leave for the entire weekend.
It kind of feels more like the private home of your Great Aunt than it does a hotel, but that’s what we love about it. The rooms are romantic and the cocktail lounge is the perfect spot for a Valentine’s Day tipple. Oh, and they serve a selected of small plates to accompany the house cocktails, so you definitely won’t go hungry.If central London is all getting a bit much, escape to quiet Richmond.
