A British Airways plane is thought to have made the fastest ever flight by a conventional airliner from New York to London. Keith McDowall, 90, from Islington in north London, told the PA news agency:"I've never had anything quite like it. “You can always go around”

DaveWallsworth could they have continued with the landing?

Why is that flying?

What an absolute weapon filming this.

MissAquilina this makes my stomach turn! 😧😫 ✈️

No. No. No.

storm Ciara has a long stretch of approximately 1400 miles from the west, we will not be happy with that for a few days

If I had been in that plane I think I might have pooped my pants 😱

Those pilots certainly earn their money. Well done for all the safe landings today. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Had an aborted landing at Leeds Bradford airport a few years back due to cross-winds. It’s not a nice experience!

Happened to me 3 times, different flights. Touch down then whoosh! Off again. No bad weather to blame either.

Superb Pilot reaction. He was hit by a massive cross gust after landing and was simply heading for the grass. What an amazingly quick/brilliant decision. That's why our pilots are the best, it's all in the training bestinthewotld

I would’ve checked my mirrors, braked and stopped, he’s playing to the cameras

And then the pilot realised that they weren't due to fly into Heathrow until Tuesday But with the help of Google maps they managed to get to Miami safely

bevelaar55 Could of been worse 🤷‍♀️

Friends of ours have had an aborted landing at Gatwick (flying from Grenoble) and have ended up in Lyon (59 miles from where they originally took off) 😬!!

BigJetTVLIVE always there to catch the action 🍺👍 avgeeks

Well one Emirates flight tried to land at LGW for a hour or so today, for rerouted and landed at Zurich, 2 hours later. .. another Emirates flight tried to land at Manchester, however it turned back and made its way to Frankfurt.
