Nebraska resident David Mayes was in China visiting his girlfriend in the city of Wuhan when officials locked down the city on Jan. 23, aiming to stop a rapidly spreading coronavirus that has killed hundreds there.
Overnight, the city turned into a ghost town, Mr. Mayes said. Eight-lane highways were empty. Businesses were shuttered. But some Americans have made it out, on flights chartered by the U.S. State Department from an otherwise-closed airport.
Wuhan has been closed down since 1.23😬
In 2011, when H1N1 hit the USA,did we call US peopel sick men of America? Racist articles are a disgrace to you! No morality! Coz of US negligence, nearly 300,000 people have died. Now the US flu has killed over 20,000 people. Shame on you!USAFlu
The next question is how are the airlines cleaning the planes after flying people from there? Planes are notoriously dirty. How have they cleaned the air filtration system? Did they clean it at least as well as they did after Ebola which was not airborne?
Those Chinese should have stayed to help fellow Chinese😫
I haven’t seen one Caucasian or African who was in Wuhan, get infected, yet Is that a selective virus ?
