Accommodation premises offering short-term stay no longer under the ministry. FMTNews STRA

The tourism minister says it will no longer register tourist accommodation premises offering short-term stay.

It said only the authorities could take action if the accommodation premises owners or agents fail to comply with the stipulated requirements. It said previously the registrations were aimed at helping the ministry obtain data and statistics to formulate policies and strategies in line with current trends.
