"We are taking guidance from the CDC and local health authorities, we have increased cleaning and sanitizing for all company-operated stores to help prevent the spread of all germs, adding paid time for our partners supporting this work," Starbucks executive vice president Rossann Williams said in anthat detailed the company's response to the virus. "We are pausing the use of personal cups and 'for here' ware in our stores.

So yes, while you can still bring in your own cup or request non-single-use serving items, for the time being, those requests won't be granted, but will still result in any applicable discounts.

So the environment takes a hit because starbucks cant clean their equipment.. Makes me wonder what other basic sanitation rules they cant fulfill.They don't have any issues with selling you a cup first and then telling you that they can't fill it as haplened to me this afternoon
