I’m running the LA Marathon tomorrow. 24,000 people from all over 50 states and from around the world. I’ve come to terms that I will eventually get sick so I’m not giving up doing something pre-planned and non-refundable because of the chance I can get sick.

Common flu is far more dangerous than C-Virus having infected millions of Americans annually despite having a vaccine. Fortunately the mutant strain in China that has been transmitted to the States is less virulent than the initial strain. 85% of those w C-virus 'is like a cold.'
You know, I get sick every time I fly. This freaks me out.
It sounds like cruise ships are the main points of contact from a lot of the new cases. I am unsure if it is the hygiene of ships in general over the planes or the locations that the ships travel to vs where most plane go (domestically).
Honestly, holy f-ing capitalist dystopia. American Airlines alone has a net worth of 12B. FFS. It’s SO F-ING EASY for them to say, “folks, there’s a possible pandemic. Need to change arrangements? We’ll work with you.” Hire the extra remote employees. Show *some* concern. FFS
