fabricated crisis to destroy the enormous gains in the markets ahead of the 2020 election. The Democrats have said they will use any means necessary to prevent Trump's reelection, and they know, unless they can destroy his booming economy, they don't stand a chance of doing that

The CDC has united with the Democratic Party and its liberal media to destroy Trump's fantastic economy. Compared with the 3.7 million cases of seasonal flu that has so far resulted in almost 40,000 deaths, the 500 cases of coronavirus with 21 deaths is nothing. This is a

Bye cruise ship industry. Nice knowing ya.

Gee ya think?

The Cruise Lines, Airlines and Hotels need to GET INLINE with this policy and NOT charge any cancellation penalties. CruiseLineAssoc

UROCKlive1 Great, now send the warning back 6 weeks ago when it might have mattered.

I disconnected the cruise control in my car, just to make sure

Good for the environment and climate!

CDC doesn't rule the world! In fact they have no test kits!

lookner

Pity you have to book cruises a year ahead and there’s essentially a no refund policy.

Ya think?

Brilliant

Kymon5 Simple --- close down the cruise lines

winetast3r Betting Trump will tweet something in contradiction to them...again..

trump knows this going to hurt him more than just economically

cruises are notorious for epidemics. Overcrowded, close containment, unhealthy environments that spew garbage and sewage into sea. Support a local park.

SethAbramson No kiddin'!

SethAbramson If you watch MSNBC, CNN, PBS, CSpan then you probably didn't need a CDC directive. If you only watch Fox & trust Trump, the decision to stay off a cruise ship may not be as clear & a CDC directive is helpful. Hope they realize Fox/Trump like to keep followers in the dark?

Why does the length of the flight matter

Fly the 787 Boeing jet. A drastic redesign to channel fresh air from outside rather than recycled air into the cabin.

SethAbramson DUH...

Key words you don’t put into the shitty headline “those with underlying health conditions”

pebbles2day Yeah so y does it take the CDC to tell u this Think for yourself people.

How about instead they test the American people and cut this bullshit red tape? covid19

SethAbramson sarahamfelt Morten 🙈🙈

SethAbramson I’ve always thought that cruise ships are giant floating poop germ nightmares, and it seems like not a day goes by that I’m not proven right.

SethAbramson You think?

maggieNYT So should I change my long flight to 3 short connections?

maggieNYT Prediction - Genius is going to want to move the sick to the empty cuise ships for quarantine.

maggieNYT A stark shift, or shark shift?

Thanks Captain Obvious.

SethAbramson Hey, let's turn this tragedy into a positive! STOP the flights, cruises, etc. Etc. And give our precious OCEANS a break! 🌊🐟🌎🌊 Anyone with me? Greenpeace oceana Ocean_Networks

Ktcampp

SethAbramson How did this pass trump. He would not approve this.

Bad news for travelers and the travel industry.

Cruises are an incubator for Germs & getting sick

It doesn’t urge travelers, it urges travelers with existing medical issues. Why exaggerate this?

maggieNYT ...because corporate profits are more important than public safety...

NoahCRothman Duh

Donnie its ok to take that cruise. Enjoy yourself . You and the moronavirus can figure out the next move. You really like thoughts and prayers so let’s go with that on.

Yes but it was mostly directed to 'people with underlying conditions' (heart disease, chronic lung disease, diabetes, and other conditions, and older persons). Plane travel guidelines are for older folks. StateDepartment recommends against cruise trips.

SethAbramson Well, thanks CDCgov in about an hour will be boarding Alaska Air as I leave Fairbanks to return home to Chattanooga.

Prediction: In a few weeks there will be dozens of infected cruise ships around the world.

SethAbramson Contradictory of WHO?

I am afraid we are going to have a total economic collapse, it is up to us to prepare in the best way possible within our means. I am afraid the government will not help those in dire need, and will continue not to tell us the true facts of what is happening.

SethAbramson Meanwhile, watching CNN today I was inundated with cruise line commercials. Perhaps Congress should pass an emergency bill that prevents them from advertising? While they're at it then can pass anti-pricegouging bills on hand sanitizer and toilet paper.

CDC - please tell us what we need to know while Trump is golfing. Maybe he won't notice.

NoahCRothman We’re cruising in two weeks and I can’t wait!

Little late

SenRickScott today saying that the cruise industry/cruise employees are going to work on making sure everyone who goes on cruises (which remain ongoing) stay safe. The CDCgov tonight: The CDC now recommends that travelers “defer all cruise ship travel worldwide”

What is a “long” plane trip?

maggieNYT Does DipshitDonnie know about this? Be ready for some backlash from the IdiotInChief COVID19

Does realDonaldTrump know?

Lemme just go and cancel my 8 day cruise and 14 hour flight to my summer house...wait a minute.

Do not disagree but just shut down an entire business. There must be a way for ships to change environment - do not US submarines have air quality control the cruise ships could utilize?

Or, you know, common sense advice you shouldn’t need the govt to give you.

Next tweet from Dear Leader will completely contradict this.

How are we supposed to avoid long flights if AmericanAir and UnitedAirlines won't let us chance or cancel flights booked prior to March 3?

I’m going to Greece in June.

Coronavid19 drags realDonaldTrump with Bond themed GIF in response to the president referring to the virus as a hoax.

media six months from now: 'did millennials kill the cruise industry?'

maggieNYT They believe in hoaxes now?

Little late WTF
