The Parti Solidarity Tanah Airku president Datuk Jeffrey Kitingan said he is glad to be part of the federal government.
"What I am most happy about is the special mention of Sabah, Sarawak and Malaysia Agreement 1963 as special concerns of the government.During the Cabinet line-up announcement, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had said that the government is serious in handling the development and socio-economic status of Sabah and Sarawak.
A special portfolio dubbed Sabah and Sarawak Special Affairs Ministry has been created for the purpose. Meanwhile, Parti Warisan Sabah vice-president Datuk Junz Wong said Muhyiddin's Cabinet has given a fair portion of federal ministerial positions to Sabah and Sarawak MPs.
