“Those who exhibit fever and/or other symptoms of respiratory illness will be conveyed directly to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases. Those without symptoms will be conveyed directly to the airport for their onward flights,” said a joint statement by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore , Singapore Tourism Board and the Ministry of Health .

Scheduled callAccording to the three agencies, Costa Fortuna began its journey from Singapore as a home-ported ship and is returning as scheduled on Tuesday. Over the past two weeks, Singapore has handled more than 10 scheduled calls by cruise ships and disembarked more than 5,000 passengers. Last Friday, the Costa Fortuna was turned away from Phuket as Thai authorities have imposed restrictions “on Italians that have transited in Italy in the last 14 days”, said Costa Cruises on Twitter.
