Families asked to leave hotels due to coronavirus, in apparent defiance of guidance

Hundreds of residents of the budget hotel chain Travelodge, including homeless families housed there by local councils, have been turned out on to the street after it closed its premises.

Define homeless.....do we mean economic immigrants..that should not really be here who the Government have kindly housed using my taxes ?

Awful. 😢And they are not treating their staff any better. Shutting down hotels, and telling staff they have to go to another hotel many miles away, with no travel expenses paid. And if they don't - they won't get paid. And we are meant to not be mixing with anyone! Horrible.

Imagine f**king up your business this bad, the post Covid-19 reckoning will soon be on them, Travelodge must have no state aid, let these businesses unwilling to step up at a time of crisis fold.
