Covid-19 hurts Thai tourism, but brings back dugongs

MESMERISING aerial images today showed a herd of more than 30 dugongs drifting serenely off the coast of a Thai island. The country’s tourism industry has taken a battering due to Covid-19, putting millions out of jobs after the pandemic paralysed global travel.
