Her travel blog quickly changed into a coronavirus survival story

An Irish woman's year long adventure in China was dashed when the coronavirus pandemic put the nation on lockdown.

I did manage to keep busy in that time but as the weeks went on it became increasingly more difficult to quarantine on my own like that.

Susan said: "You know, when you're put on the spot like that it's hard to know what the correct thing is. "I spent two nights sleeping in airports on the way home and when I eventually just landed on Irish soil it was quite emotional.
