Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has maintained that the demolition of the two hotels in Eleme Local Government Area of the state was done in line with extant laws, saying the state government has

done no wrong.

The governor added that most of the task force members sustained severe head injuries from the attack.

The demolition of the hotels is illegal if the law court has not pronounced the owners of the hotels guilty.

Where is SR? Deafening silence. Wike is from their safe zone.

Says the power miss road dictator

What you did is evil, there re other ways you could have punish them by giving option of fine or lock up the hotel for a period of time

Hitler, followed d Nuremberg laws to exterminate d Jews... U might mean well for rivers ppl, but be careful how u use emergency power!

Serve them right. People takes things too lightly in this country. There are many hotels in River State but these once thinks they are above the law. The governor should persecute the owners also. The reason the virus break out in China but killed just few is discipline

You done wrong indeed!

This Statement show that Wike Consciences is blaming he but the Court of law will have the Final say.

Your action wasn’t proportional but an act of wickedness. That same building should have been converted to isolation centre for the time being.

People who do and execute such ignoramus how do they sleep This is registering the fact that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.Wike weldone

Lawless leaders for a lawless people.

Here, Sango was invited to search for lost niddle. Is this action not too much? Abi, wetin de there set?

1. If people attack government agents who are carrying out an enforcement action, you don’t knock down their building, you arrest them. 2. Wike should with all honesty tell us how he would personally react if people came to knock down his house without justifiable cause.

What was he going to say before?

Wike might be wrong but have you thought of a mare citizen pulling out a gun before team of government workers because he is celebrating a party and nobody disturbs......

Nobody is talking about the thugs that beat up the state task force 🙄

Gov Wike Brick house is not your Father's own, in less than 3years and 3weeks you will become ex governor and posterity will judge you. That power intoxication will clear from your eyes

Yes indeed,. He done no wrong

They feel they are above the law. Other hotels shut down. Why did they disobey the law That is the question

GovWike has done nothing wrong

Demolishing a business structure like he did for disobeying an Executive Order (something that came from the Governor's whims directly - whether good or bad) is Tyranny of highest order. What happened to sealing up, fines or arrest? WikeMustBePunished

A mad man can never say he's mad

The funny thing is that Wike himself is a lawyer and his wife is a judge. I expect him to know better when it comes to legal issues.

Learn from the elders GovWike u are incompetent

Just imagine...I don't see that good, he should have lock the place down.

No wrongdoer is aware of it until told otherwise, Like Terrorists they believe their fighting a just course, A renowned Hotel in Abuja has being under lock and key since 2013 till date because people died inside, Why was it not demolished?😏

U are right my governor

Gov. Wike is to be impeached 'two wrong cannot make a right' cos if I say he should pay, public fund will suffer the loss and for the hotel: that serves them right, they will forfeit their losses.

Far easier to destroy than to build. A country that lacks school building, hospital building, isolation centers is destroying a convertible building just because of Covid 19 violation. He would have shot those Texas guys protesting in US then.

Wike's doctors might need to take him in for general evaluation...what a tyrant...

You have done something wrong my dear woke. A lot of people eat And work from there

This is what happens when you put thugs in power. Small authority like this, they become irrational. There are other ways he could've dealt with them for flouting the lockdown order. Seal the hotel, fine them, turn it into isolation centre, but no, he chosed to destroy it. Kmt

Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right. The Logger-Heads Continue. How Will Things Unfold At The Tale End? WATCH OUT!

It is wickedness wike

This is how you enforce the law, when some touts think they're above the law..

Something is wrong somewhere?

'We’ve done no wrong as all our actions were taken in good faith and justified by, under and within the purview of the Executive Orders, which have neither been challenged nor set aside by any competent court of law.' This is the most unlawyerly statement by GovWike

It's just wasteful

People who agree with Wike should also never complain about police brutality.

How can you be celebrating when others are crying.

GovWike has violently breached the fundamental rights of the Rivers People, and as such, the Governor should be ready to face the legal consequences. He was warned but the despot wouldn't listen.

The demolition man

SECONDED BY ME. Party kiiii them join
