Spain holidays latest travel advice for Irish tourists as Government issue warning

Irish tourists are still advised not to visit Spain on holiday, according to the latest travel advice from the Department of Foreign Affairs.

And Irish citizens have been warned that only people with permanent residency status in Spain are currently allowed into the country. "Current restrictions at Spain’s borders mean that only Spanish citizens or people who can prove that they have permanent residency in Spain will be allowed entry to Spain.

Additionally, Spanish officials confirmed any international arrivals will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine from Friday, May 15.
