HOLIDAYS this year are looking very unlikely with quarantine rules remaining in place across many countries around the world. But now, a travel spokesman from ABTA The Travel Association, has revealed why package holiday refunds are delayed and how Ryanair flights in July are not 'unrealistic'.

He said: “If you booked a package holiday, you’re covered by an EU directive called the package travel directive which changed a couple of years ago and one of the changes they brought in was that tour operators, if they cancelled your holiday for whatever reason, and if you didn’t want to rebook with them, you would be entitled to a refund within 14 days.
