The pandemic has hit many travel plans, but that won't be a problem with parts of the UK set to be warmer than Marbella and Ibiza.

Come Wednesday, parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland will get a chance to bask in highs of 22C while Wales could see 23C in the afternoon.Police have previously had to remind people of the lockdown rules

Met Office meteorologist Matthew Box said:"It's going to be very hot for large parts of England for most of the week, reaching highs of 27C on Wednesday, which would make it the hottest day of the year so far. "This will occur due to large areas of high pressure, combined with southerly winds from the continent, bringing with it, pleasant sunshine, dry skies and warmer air."

This warm weather could mean bands of rain and thunder across the south and east of England and Wales on Thursday, however.
