Italy will open its borders to European visitors from June 3 in 'calculated risk' to save its tourism industry

EU nationals will be allowed to enter Italy without any quarantine from June 3. Italian PM Giuseppe Conte said Italy had to accept a risk to 'get started again'. There are fears that hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost in tourism sector.

And we have to accept the disease and live with it...importantly observing the health guidelines such as social distance, frequent washing of hands, sanitizing and wearing of masks

At some point it is going to have to be accepted that all moves out of lock down are some form of calculated risk. As a society, we need to settle on where the line is drawn.

Been many times love Italy but won’t be rushing back 😱

That’s great. Very brave country but we have to come out at some point. We cannot stay in lockdown forever.

DailyMailUK Tourism will be on the downfall for the next 4 months for sure. Italy has gone through the worse and hopes they take every step with full caution.
