The Queensland government is considering whether it is legally and logistically possible to create a travel bubble with NSW.

The Queensland government is considering whether it is legally and logistically possible to create a "travel bubble" with neighbouring NSW.

Mr Miles confirmed on Sunday "some work has been done" on how the Sunshine State could open up to NSW, while keeping Victorians at bay."There's legal difficulties. There is also [the] practical difficulty of how you implement that both at the physical border and at airports," he said. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk last week praised efforts in NSW to clamp down on the spread of the virus.

One person remains in hospital with the virus and they continue to be ventilated in a Gold Coast intensive care unit.

Not Vic sadly. That won’t happen until next month if not later.
