.keithjpitt says the Queensland government needs to stop stonewalling interstate travel because the time has come to learn to live with COVID-19

Resources Minister Keith Pitt says the Queensland government needs to stop stonewalling interstate travel because the time has come to learn to live with COVID-19. “There will be localised outbreaks, we’ve recognised that, it’s the reason we’ve put so much effort into ensuring there are thousands and thousands of ventilators available, the contact tracing is in place, that we have the coronavirus app out there,” Mr Pitt told Sky News.

“Quite simply, this is something we have to learn to live with, we’ve suppressed the virus, we’ve done a very good job in terms of the health response, now we need to get the economic response on the move.” Mr Pitt said it’s wrong for Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to keep borders shut when health regulations have already been flouted so recklessly.

keithjpitt Rubbish - NSW and VICTORIA are greedy and have no self - control at all . Congratulations WA AND QLD

keithjpitt Australia has relaxed social distancing rules because local transmission has been minimised but that does not imply we should now open our international borders. On a smaller scale the same principle applies to a COVID free state and its borders to other COVID active states.

keithjpitt Stay away Victoria

keithjpitt keith is also a chinese resource hawker, well planted and watered by the CCP, dont believe Keith, hes a flog

keithjpitt You can tell it is not about the virus. It is about pushing their own agenda.

keithjpitt There will be no, or minimal tourism! Those who can afford it may not want to travel and certainly not to Queensland.

keithjpitt Make that SKY as well .

keithjpitt Really ..That's like when they said we had to live with terrorism as well. 🤔

keithjpitt Keith we also had a rally here in SA no cases recorded because of it

keithjpitt ‘Learn to live’ with COVID-19. That’s graveyard humour.

keithjpitt Who cares what he thinks?..

keithjpitt Those who have money and a job want it closed ongoing those that don’t have work it own a business need it open. The longer it’s closed the people with jobs don’t realise they won’t have one in future as economy is too weak and demand isn’t there. Careful what you wish for

keithjpitt

keithjpitt Keeping it closed is better 👍

keithjpitt Classic LNP - sacrifice granny for the sake of the economy. Maybe Tourism QLD should do a letterbox drop in the five local council areas of Melbourne identified as hotspots?

keithjpitt You’ve seen what’s happening in VIC right now right? They’re about to go back into lockdown because they opened too early.
