Bars, restaurants and hotels have sat idle since lockdown shattered the tourist trade.Even the iconic Sol Pelicanos Hotel, which doubles as the Solana in ITV comedy Benidorm, is closed until mid-July.It cannot happen soon enough for expats Chris Drew and Kim Basnett, who have both lived there for over a decade.Since mid-March Chris, 33, from Reading, Berks, has been out of work.
