PETALING JAYA: The Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) has been instructed to ease the procedures for permit and licence applications for public transport operators, including in the tourism industry, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister said his ministry was ready to help revive the tourism industry hit hard by theCovid-19 pandemic.

He said this following a meeting with the Malaysian Tourism Council honorary secretary Datuk Seri Razali Mohd Sham at the Transport Ministry on Saturday . "We discussed the measures that need to be taken to revive the tourism sector, especially domestic tourism. "The ministry is ready to help tourism industry players in all forms possible," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday.
