Every summer for the last 20 years, I’ve travelled to Stockholm, my wife’s home town. I clung on to the idea of doing so again this year until the very last moment, hoping that quarantine rules would be relaxed. The authorities there say that Covid levels are now so low that it’s pointless to wear masks, even on public transport, but still, the UK Foreign Office is advising against all but “essential” travel to Sweden.

FraserNelson Some of my family are out in Croatia,they tell me it's mask free and wonderful... A great escape from Coronophobic Birmingham!!!! This closing down places because of 'cases' is ridiculous
