Fears have been raised about two German tourists who are missing in the remote Western Australian outback while on a road trip and have not been heard from in more than a fortnight.

9News understands family and friends of Benjamin Kress, 29, and Nathalie Kress, 26, haven't heard from them in days and say it is out of character for them to go silent. They were last known to be at Eighty Mile Beach in Broome on July 21 and had plans to travel the Gibb River Road, around 10 hours northwest of the city.

They were last known to be at Eighty Mile Beach in Broome on July 21 and had plans to travel the Gibb River Road, around 10 hours northwest of the city.There has only been one report of a sighting of the pair, at the Roebuck Roadhouse on July 22, however that has been unconfirmed.Anyone with information about the couple's whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
