ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr is negotiating a travel bubble with South Australia and Darwin, but the ACT is still deemed a COVID-19 'hotspot' by Queensland, despite having no active cases.

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr is attempting a deal with other states and territories that would allow Canberrans to travel interstate before other borders officially open.South Australia has indicated it may wait until it can also resume travel with NSW to begin ACT flights

"I formally made the offer in the meeting that Adelaide and Canberra work together and we become the first national pilot," Mr Barr said. Makes no sense, with this definition of hotspot then the entire country is a hotspot considering anyone could theoretically sneak in anywhere anytime. We need a national approach and CDC during future national healths crises.
