Roberts said officers from the Vancouver Police Department located the vehicle and questioned the party of four to whom it belonged. Working with RCMP, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency, officers determined that the family had stayed in B.C. longer than it should have.
This is old news. Canada border patrol are not doing enough to make sure they are really going to Alaska instead of staying in Canada and hotels should ask for passports when checking in their guess.
Now this is interesting, here in Saskatoon I called the police station about a car with US plates in a Drivethru ahead of me. They were polite, but said they were not investigating such calls. Now I realize that they could legitimately be here. However, it is not a common thing.
I see US plates in Nothern Ontario, it's time to give them big fines and escort them to the border. Better yet don't let them drive they have to fly straight to Alaska.
