In a media factsheet released on Wednesday , the Singapore Tourism Board said that these vouchers will take the form of credits in denominations of $10, and will be accessible via SingPass.
There will also be a $10 subsidy for child/youth tickets for attractions and tours. Each user is eligible to purchase up to six child or youth tickets at subsidised prices for the duration of the scheme, which will last from December 2020 to the end of June 2021. The government had announced on 17 August that $320 million would be set aside in the form of such vouchers.
More capacity for tourist attractionsFrom Friday, tourist attractions that have received approval to resume operations can apply to the STB to increase their operating capacity from 25 per cent to up to 50 per cent, subject to approval by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
