AIRBNB has cautioned against the proposed blanket ban on short-term rentals in strata buildings, which could threaten the recovery of the tourism sector. “We are strongly opposed to any unfair and heavy-handed blanket ban on short-term rentals in strata buildings,” said Mich Goh, Airbnb’s head of public policy for Southeast Asia.
