The U.S. and U.K. are discussing the idea of allowing flights to and from “low-risk areas” in the U.S. — such as New York — into English airports

Whilst visitors from the U.K are still not allowed to travel to the U.S., talks have begun to discuss the possibility of putting travel corridors in place from some cities in the U.S. to the U.K.that American and British ministers are discussing the idea of allowing flights to and from “low-risk areas” areas in the U.S.–such as New York–into English airports. A travel corridor between the two cities would eradicate the need for quarantine.The U.K.

Each state in the U.S. currently has its own system in place for lockdown, so a decision would need to be taken on a city by city basis.
