KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Those applying for interstate travel are reminded not to give 'lame' reasons and to only travel if there is an urgent and genuine need.

Gombak district police chief ACP Arifai Tarawe said since the conditional movement control order was enforced on Oct 14, a total of 1,587 applications for interstate travel have been received, with 1,555 applications approved. He said this after a special MCO compliance operation in Selayang Baru and Sri Gombak here late Saturday , during which seven individuals were compounded and two foreigners were detained.
