Stormont's Health Minister is to consult with Northern Ireland’s Attorney General about the legality of a ban on travel from Britain.
No decision was taken, with Minister Robin Swann asked to seek legal clarity and update the Executive today. Sinn Féin pressed for a ban to be introduced with immediate effect, but the Department of Health was unclear about the legal position. The travel ban proposal by Sinn Féin was in sharp contrast to the position of the party’s Dublin-based Senator Lynn Boylan on RTÉ's The Week in Politics yesterday.
Might not be legal, its LOGICAL!!!!!!!!
Why didn’t ROI ban travel from NI at the same time as they banned travel from GB 🤔
Being led like lambs to the slaughter. Distracted arguing over unnecessary policy for Covert Covid as they erode your civil rights in PLAIN SIGHT and prep you for unnecessary toxic vaccine.
If Scotland can do it surely NI can.
Load of balls. Scotland did it ASAP to protect its people but these tossers balls about letting extra flights into NI today. They are not fit for purpose. Meanwhile - Londoners fleeing from St Pancras this evening following the Tier 4 announcement
If Scotland and Wales can close their borders- why can’t NI? Procrastination is going to result in unnecessary deaths.
Between brexit and covid the DUP will be part of the republic soon enough 😂😂

Which part of the UK policy on Tiered Lockdowns do they not understand? If they can stop people leaving London for Liverpool, and England to Scotland where is the query? Typical obstructionist policy from DUP who would rather prevaricate until the mutant strain is in Donaghdee
