's National Health Commission has announced a series of domestic travel restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 as the country prepares for mass movement of people to celebrate Lunar New Year.
They will be required to monitor their health with daily temperature and symptoms checks, and undergo two other tests on the seventh and 14th day after arrival.This comes as residents in Beijing's Daxing district remain in lockdown. More than 24,000 residents around the infection hotspot in Daxing have also been asked to stay at home until further notice.
Schools and education facilities across Beijing will need to complete all in-person learning by Saturday, and kindergartens have been shut from today.
