Some 69 per cent of Irish people plan to go overseas as soon as they receive the coronavirus jab

More than two thirds of people plan to travel abroad as soon as they have been vaccinated against COVID-19, new findings show.

More than half are planning to travel abroad when the lockdown is lifted while 35% plan to staycation in Ireland. He said: “Although it is uncertain as to when we will all be vaccinated and ready to take flight and depart, it seems like Irish people are inspired by the COVID-19 vaccine to seize the occasion of exploring the world of travel again.

My mate davidjameswalsh and his wife triona50 have been away twice since Christmas. He said the best way to travel is through Belfast as there is no quarantining or any of that nonsense on your return. Fair play to them I say although I haven’t left my village in 12 months.
