Covid-19: Tighter control at toll plazas to monitor interstate travel in Malaysia, say police

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Azisman Alias said his department had tightened interstate movement following the instruction of the Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani. On Monday, Acryl Sani was reported to have said that interstate movements for employment, medical, and educational purposes are only allowed from Monday to Thursday. Meanwhile, he also reportedly said interstate travel for emergency and bereavement purposes would only involved immediate family members, namely parents, children and siblings.
