The India travel ban has seen the “each-way hall of fame” joined by the likes of Annastacia Palaszczuk, Bill Shorten, and Adam Bandt, says Sky News host Paul Murray.

Mr Murray said these people initially saw a “political advantage” in “bashing the federal government and saying ‘we must close the borders’”.

“But then of course the public mood apparently changed,” he said. “Despite the fact that polling has consistently shown us that Australians are fine with this particular method.”
