Last week, the UK government confirmed that holidays abroad can go ahead from Monday, with 12 countries added to the green list.This means quarantine-free holidays can go ahead, with Brits only required to have a negative Covid test before returning to the UK and one on day two.
However just four of the 12 green destinations are open to Brits, with Portugal and Gibraltar the only popular holiday destinations.The majority of Europe which includes Spain and Greece are on the amber list, which requires a 10-day quarantine at home, as well as two Covid tests on day two and day eight.According to the website, the green list destinations include:
