PENANG has allocated RM1 million to subsidise the electricity bill of its hotels, travel agencies, theme parks and other tourist attractions battered by another movement control order, the New Straits TimesState Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin yesterday said the one-off assistance was to further alleviate the financial burden on the local tourism industry.
