Foreign holidays are “not a good idea” this year, a leading University of Oxford professor and government vaccine adviser has warned – instead, he suggested people should get used to Cornwall and Bournemouth.
Wow, really? Not a good idea? What idiot actually thinks that booking any foreign holiday is a good idea. Seriously. You will soon need shots not just for your 'home' version but also the destination version of covid. Just like malaria shots and the like. Get used to that!
100% agree & make sure you don't contribute to the same globalism that gave you numerous issues including this Pandemic.
Why ever not? They were a good idea last year when there was no vaccine. And if not this year, then surely not next year either. Or the year after that. But this reminds me of the old official mantra from my youth: 'There are many nice places in our German Democratic Republic.'
Who gives a shit.
