AirAsia X passengers affected by debt restructuring to get travel credits | The Malaysian Insight

AirAsia X Bhd has issued a statement to clarify media reports on passenger classification and their entitlements under a scheme of arrangement supported by 99% of all its creditors. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 15, 2021.

AIRASIA X Bhd passengers affected by the airline’s debt restructuring will be given travel credits, which can be used to purchase flight tickets once international borders reopen. These passengers will also receive a 0.5% payment of what is owed and cash-based entitlements based on the airline’s annual revenue performance over three years, as explained in a statement issued to all AAX creditors recently.
