Prime Minister Scott Morrison wants Australians to be able to travel without fearing they will end up in quarantine.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has called on state and territory leaders to resist any travel restrictions that would impede Australia’s bid to open up for summer.

“And so I would urge for greater certainty around these arrangements. We’re taking Omicron incredibly seriously. Every state and territory is. But we’re also going to keep our head.” “Anyone who’s concerned, and is ready to have their booster shot, I would urge them to go and get it because that is the best defence against Omicron, particularly for insuring against serious illness or what might require hospitalisation,” Mr Morrison said.
