The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted this week to suspend all travel for county business to Florida and Texas, citing policies and legislation in the Republican-led states that officials said were driven by "transphobia and homophobia."

Pure farce. CA imposed an official-travel ban for FL last year (because FL's female-only sports law). Yet year before CA sends a trade delegation to Dubai, UAE, where homosexuality is punishable by death. IOW: Killing gays not as bad as keeping boys off the girls' soccer team.
