JOHOR BARU: The tourism sector in Johor is seen to be recovering, with many hotels recording booking rates of up to 70% especially on weekends.

"We have seen a significant increase in golf tourism, and for July alone, about 300 visitors from South Korea will come here specifically to play golf. "They will be staying around Iskandar Puteri and Johor Baru. All golf clubs are also fully booked including by domestic tourists,” he said. – Bernama
