QUẢNG NAM , July 18 : Hoi An, the ancient town located in Vietnam’s central Quang Nam Province has been voted the 20th best city in the world by readers of the US magazineReaders ranked the town based on factors such as the quality of hotels and restaurants, cultural heritage, attractions, cuisine and COVID-19 protocols, reported Vietnam News Agency.
Recently, Dubai-based Time Out magazine has also listed Hoi An among"the very best places" to travel to in July with warm weather. "As the monsoon rains fall in Hanoi and HCM City, savvy travelers in Vietnam head to the central coast where the weather is dry and warm," the magazine said. In the category of the top 25 best islands in the world this year, Phú Quốc in the southern province of Kiên Giang is in 14th place.
Besides destinations, Vietnam also has two accommodation facilities included in Travel+Leisure’s World's Best Awards of 2022.The US magazine also honoured Capella Hà Nội hotel in the top 15 best city hotels in Asia. - Bernama
