The Kerryman is often seen on our screens on RTE shows At Your Service and Francis Brennan's Grand Tour, but he never set out to have a career in TV.
"I had been on television a few times, on shows such as Nationwide and the Late Late Show but I didn’t have a show of my own. RTE approached me with At Your Service and then from there we developed Francis Brennan’s Grand Tour.Because of his TV work, Francis has gotten used to people recognising and approaching him in his and John's fabulous five-star Kenmare Park Hotel."I often have 12-15 year olds ask me why I do this or that on At Your Service.
Francis is often recognised abroad as well and recalled being referred to as 'Mr Brennan' by a waiter in a Spanish restaurant. "Me and John have also appeared on the Junior Cert Irish paper. So we’re actually educating students both in Ireland and abroad!"
