Image: RollingNews.ie Image: RollingNews.ie REFUGEES TRAVELLING TO Ireland from safe European countries will now be required to have visas after the Government agreed to suspend EU migration rules for the next 12 months.
Under that agreement, refugees who had been granted international protection in a signatory country could travel to another signatory country for a period of up to three months. “In recent months, we have seen that the visa exemption provided for in the Council of Europe Agreement is being exploited, including by some who enter the State and subsequently claim international protection, despite having already been granted such protection by another European state.”
Large mistake
It's time we kick them out. IrelandisFull
Is all Ukraine at war
No fucking shit Sherlock !!!!
Meanwhile, in Kinnegad, some of the more affluent NGO s kindly organised a family sports day in the car park of the local off-licence. Sadly, due to today's 29° climatecrisis, the lemonade stand was somewhat overwhelmed, and unfortunately had to close.
Govt backbench feedback & internal private polling on this frightened the horses & forced Ministers into action as they keep losing electoral ground to SF. Those from central & Eastern Ukraine are priority & need help urgently, & the Dublin Convention must be enforced by Ireland.
So they’ve known these scammers have been at this all along and only acted now! The rest of these scammers should now be rounded up and deported immediately
Why are comments closed on the website? Not like people's opinions
Well that's the stable door shut. Now, where's the horse?
“Government must act swiftly to mitigate the risks to maintain the integrity of our immigration &international protection systems &uphold public confidence in those systems.” Confidence is well gone. Place is a joke now. Meanwhile we have to send people to Spain for health care
A very small step in the right direction. 👏 This should have been done ten years ago.
Boom, the penny finally dropped. If they had brains they would be dangerous
