Premier Doug Ford made the announcement on Friday and said the increased service would be a “huge boost” to the region.
Prior to Friday’s announcement, the service only ran Monday to Friday and seasonally over the weekends. Riders can purchase weekend passes for $10, which provides unlimited travel on any one of those days. For an extra 5$, riders can get unlimited travel for the full weekend, including holidays.
Hellloooo This is NOT NEW!!! This is the EXACT service that existed pre-pandemic. This was a photo op only and he demanded metrolinks drag a gd train to Niagara for a backdrop.
Fantastic deal. Can’t park in Toronto for that price so this should become even more popular. Thank You.
With the cost of living in larger cities, hopefully, more frequent service makes commuting to Hamilton/Mississaga/Toronto a bit more of an option.
sadaf_asadullaa nice
Im interested
Finally something that DOESN’T cost a fortune to use. A train ride between Niagara Falls and Toronto (and back) for the weekend is only $15. 👍🏻👍🏻
About time!! It's too hectic to catch Train till Burlington and switch to bus from there on!! Also increase the frequency , just 2 trains in the morning /evenings is not enough!!
God Bless Doug Ford
