published by Heart Aerospace, the manufacturer of the aircraft, the ES-30 can hold 30 passengers. The primary propulsion system has four electric motors powered by batteries and a reserve hybrid turbogenerator.

The planes will be able to reach a maximum altitude of 20,000 feet and have a variable range, depending on the specific power source. The company says it can fly 200 kilometers when solely using electric power and 400-800 kilometers when using gas/electric hybrid power, depending on the number of passengers. Air Canada reported these airplanes can recharge in 30 to 50 minutes.
