Taxes and fees will kill them. Article doesn’t mention half the price is taxes and fees. Government makes it hard to start and survive.
Luckily I don't need to count pennies for a flight, not that I can afford first class. It's about the whole experience. Took my first flight from Billy Bishop in Toronto to Moncton this past summer. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. And it was cheaper than WestJet or AC
